The length of a single piece of municipal guardrail is generally fixed. Each guardrail is 3 meters long and has 12 small vertical pipes. The column adopts 80 * 80mm square pipe, so the length of a set is 3.08m. The difference between different specifications is mainly the height of municipal guardrail. The height here refers to the length from the top of the column to the ground after the railing is installed. The following heights are commonly used:
The height of 0.6m guardrail is 0.3m, which is mainly used at the entrances and exits of garages and shopping malls.
The height of 0.8m guardrail is 0.5m, which can be divided into workshop and workshop areas.
The height of 1.0m guardrail is 0.7m. This specification is mostly used for roads in communities, schools and parks.
The height of 1.2m guardrail is 0.9m. It is mainly used for municipal roads and urban roads to prevent pedestrians from crossing and block the lights of opposite lanes.
What should be paid attention to in the installation of guardrail in bridge engineering
During the construction of bridge guardrail, it is necessary to accurately grasp the data of various facilities, especially the accurate location of various pipelines buried in the subgrade. It is not allowed to cause any damage to underground facilities during the construction process. When the column is driven too deep, the column shall not be pulled out for correction. Its foundation shall be tamped again before driving, or the position of the column shall be adjusted. When approaching the depth during construction, the hammering force shall be controlled.
Except that fasteners and expansion bolts are hot-dip galvanized, other components of bridge guardrail shall be hot-dip galvanized before plastic coating. The dotted line in the figure is the bending of connecting plate. The grounding resistance of the anti falling object net is required to be less than 10. If it fails to meet the requirements, the amount of angle steel of the grounding body can be increased. The distance of angle steel is 5M and connected with flat steel. When the end of each anti falling object net is grounded, the local stiffness and the length of angle steel shall be subject to the actual quantities on site.
